Description

All of our beef is Angus Beef, which is naturally raised on our farm for 18 to 24 months. We grass feed (pasture raised) and grain finish our beef to improve the flavor and quality of our beef. Every one of our Angus Beef Cattle is humanely raised and processed according to our high standards.

The Full Beef Package allows you complete control over how you want your beef processed. This is one of our lowest-priced methods for purchasing beef. Your deposit reserves your Full Beef for our next processing date.

• We sell by the hanging weight
• Our beef is processed locally at a USDA-inspected meat locker (cost is ~$1.00 per lb. based on hanging weight and is included in the price)
  • Each cut is individually wrapped, except steaks, which generally come 2 per pack
  • Our beef is custom-processed to our specifications. We can assist you with your order, and our meat processor is also very helpful for first-time buyers
  • If you want your beef custom-processed to your specifications, be aware that this could incur additional processing costs and will be reflected in your final invoice
• The deposit reserves your Full Beef. We will invoice you for the balance once the final hanging weight is known on the processing date
• A Full Beef will average 375-425 lbs. of finished cut/packaged meat
• Average $8.85 per lb. of take-home product
• Total cost averages $3000-$3500. The price will vary depending on the animal's size, but you’ll always get what you pay for!
• This package will take up 95% of a large upright freezer
• When you place your order
  • We will contact you to confirm your order and answer any questions you may have about your processing date, cutting instructions, delivery, etc.
• On your processing date
  • We will contact you to let you know when your meat bundle will be available for pickup at the Happy Kids Farm
  • We will provide you with the final invoice amount for your beef package (based on hanging weight and any custom processing you may have requested)
• On your pickup date
  • The final invoice must be paid in full
